9 Of The 32 Teenagers Arrested By Duren Sawit Police Members Were Entrusted To The Cipayung Children's Social Institution

JAKARTA - After undergoing examination, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Duren Sawit Police followed up on 9 teenagers who were arrested by a joint team from the East Jakarta Metro Police and the Duren Sawit Police when they were about to fight.

"9 teenagers were placed at PSMP Handayani Cipayung, East Jakarta," said Duren Sawit Police Chief AKP Sutikno when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, July 30.

The nine teenagers were part of 32 teenagers who were arrested on Jalan Kolonel Sugiyono, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta on Sunday, July 28.

"Nine teenagers will be processed," he said.

Previously, as many as 23 teenagers wanted a brawl that was secured by the Duren Sawit Police were finally released and returned to their respective parents. They were released because they were not proven to have violated the crime.

"They were not proven to have brought a knife. They were briefed and made an agreement not to repeat their actions," said Duren Sawit Police Chief, AKP Sutikno when confirmed, Monday, July 29.
