JAKARTA - An automotive manufacturer from China, Great Wall Motor (GWM) officially sells 300 HEV Tanks carrying a tough design typical of off-road. The presence of this car has the potential to seduce adventure lovers in Indonesia.

Launched through the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), this SUV is priced at around Rp. 833.8 million. However, when did this car start shipping to Indonesian consumers?

Responding to this, GWM Indonesia Marketing Director Hari Arifianto said that his party would start shipping Tank 300 around the end of September this year if there were no problems.

"Tank 300 has begun to be delivered with an estimated end of September 2024 or early October 2024," Hari said when contacted by VOI, Monday, July 29.

He also said that customers will get about 3 months and don't have to wait long to get the unit.

"It is estimated that the waiting time is still as planned," added Hari.

Tank 300 HEV has a relieved dimension with a length of 4,760 mm, a width of 1,930 mm, and a height of up to 1,903 mm. The manufacturer claims that this car has a maximum climbing depth of up to 35 degrees.

A sturdy element is also given to this car with an aluminum upper control arms chassis with a shock absorber tuning in front and rear plus coil spring devices.

GWM offers this model with a number of attractive equipment, ranging from tough front bumpers, side step, longitudinal rack roofs, retro-designed LED lights, LED fog lighting, and large sub-brand Tank logos in the middle of the grip.

This car has a series of features that accommodate off-road performance, ranging from differential locks at the front and rear, then Tank Turn, and Crawl Control to make it easier to get past various obstacles.

Not only tough and luxurious, 300 HEV Tanks are also equipped with adaptive cruise control (ACC), Intelligent Cruise Assist (ICA), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR).

Resilience is also embedded in the same 2.0 liter turbocharged HEV engine, such as Tank 500. Combined with the transmission of nine Hydraulic Automatic Transmission accelerations, the car produces 342 dk of power and 648 Nm of torque.
