Fender Prepares 3 Months Free Online Course Amid Lockdown
JAKARTA - Guitar manufacturer Fender is offering free online guitar lessons in the midst of the COVID-19 or coronavirus pandemic.
New subscribers to the Fender Play service - a subscription-based platform for budding guitarists - can use the platform for free for three months.
Fender Play uses instructor videos and progress tracking tools to teach users hundreds of different songs. Additionally, the platform offers personalized guides based on song preference and instrument selection.
This service usually costs £ 9.99 per month, but is now free in an effort to entertain guitarists, ukulele players and bassists in the midst of a lockdown imposed by a number of countries, especially Britain due to the corona virus.
"With everything that is happening in the world, music has the power to connect us," read a statement on Fender's social media.

"We're all going to spend more time inside (the house) - so we better make it noisy."
To sign up for the service, beginner guitarists can go to the official Fender Play website, or download their app for Android or iOS.
