Check The Crime Scene Of Toddler Died Drowning In Purwakarta Water Tourism, Police Say Family Rejects Autopsy

The Purwakarta Police have checked the scene of the case (TKP) of the death of a toddler with the initials AF allegedly drowned in the Nimo Water Forest tourist area, Bungursari, Purwakarta, West Java (West Java).

Kasatreskrim Purwakarta Police, AKP Muchammad Arwin Bachar, said the check was carried out on the evening of Sunday, July 28 after receiving a report in the afternoon. The victim is known to be a tourist visitor from Pondok Aren District, South Tangerang (Tangsel).

"So the victim and his family were on vacation at Nimo Water Forest Purwakarta. The victim was first known to have died by his father when it was discovered that his daughter was not within reach," said Arwin in Purwakarta, Monday, July 29, quoted by Antara.

At the time of the incident, the victim was found floating in the beach pool in the tourist area, at around 17.00 WIB.

"At around 16.50 WIB, the father and his son planned to go to the wife and uncle and aunt who were at Nimo Bar (other points in the tourist area). However, when they arrived at Nimo Bar, the father did not see his daughter AF," he said.

After searching, the child was found floating in a beach pool close to Nimo Water Forest reading.

According to him, the victim had been given first aid by his father by pressing the victim's chest. But it didn't work. So the victim was immediately taken to Siloam Purwakarta Hospital.

"When he arrived at Siloam Hospital, it turned out that the victim was already dead," he said.

Kasatreskrim said that the victim's family refused to do an autopsy. Furthermore, the victim's body was immediately taken by the family.
