It Is Not Proven That The Criminal Violation, 23 Teenagers Arrested At The Duren Sawit Police, Were Released

JAKARTA - A total of 23 teenage boys who were arrested because they wanted to fight were finally released at the Duren Sawit Police. They were returned to their respective parents because they were not proven to have violated the crime.

"They were sent home to their respective parents. Because they were not proven to have brought a knife. They were briefed and made an agreement not to repeat their actions," said Duren Sawit Police Chief, AKP Sutikno when confirmed, Monday, July 29.

However, these teenagers underwent a urine test at the Duren Sawit Police Station on Sunday night, July 28. From the results of the urine test, the police found no indication of drugs. Apart from urine tests, the police also did not find any possession of sharp weapons from the 23 teenagers.

Meanwhile, the remaining 9 teenagers are still at the Duren Sawit Police Station to undergo further investigation.

As previously reported, a joint team from the East Jakarta Metro Police and the Duren Sawit Police arrested 32 teenagers who wanted to fight on Jalan Colonel Sugiyono, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, Sunday, July 28.

East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly emphasized that in addition to securing 32 teenagers, the police also confiscated evidence of 17 sharp weapons of the type of duck cocor (Corbek), 1 pack of hard water, 1 firecracker flash ball, 9 motorbikes and 14 cellphones.

"Of the 32 perpetrators of this brawl, there are a group of teenagers who are still students," said Kombes Nicolas when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, July 28, evening.
