Jokowi Calls Water And Internet At The IKN Presidential Palace No Problem
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said that there were no problems with water and electricity when he first stayed at the Presidential Palace of the Archipelago Capital (IKN), North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan (Kaltim), Sunday, July 28 evening.
"There are no problems, the water is abundant, the electricity is ok," Jokowi said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 29.
In addition to water and electricity, Jokowi said, the internet network at the Presidential Palace of IKN is also running smoothly.
"The internet is good," said the President.
He added that the construction of the IKN Presidential Palace is still ongoing today and is in good progress.
Still, Jokowi said, today there will be a meeting in the President's office.
"Everything is still ongoing and today I will also accept the meetings here in the President's office, but I cannot invite (journalists) because there are still many who work so that those who work are not disturbed, there are still cleaning, there are still those who are finishing, everything is still in good progress," he concluded.

It is known that President Jokowi will hold his inaugural meeting at IKN with the IKN Authority and the ranks of the East Kalimantan Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda).
This was conveyed by the Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana in a statement received at Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan, Monday.
"He plans to have a meeting with the OIKN staff accompanied by the Minister of State Secretary and the Minister of PUPR. Then he will also accept the ranks of the East Kalimantan Forkompinda," said Yusuf.
Yusuf said the meeting at the IKN Palace would be held the same way as meetings at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta.
"This morning the President will receive guests/audiences and meetings in the President's office at the Presidential Office at IKN, such as daily events when the father is based at the Merdeka Palace.
