Jokowi: The Infrastructure Development Of The IKN Presidential Palace Is Still Finishing
NUSANTARA - The construction of the infrastructure complex at the Presidential Palace in the Capital of the Archipelago (IKN), East Kalimantan (Kaltim) is still in good progress. Currently, the condition is only the final stage (finiishing) completion.
This was conveyed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) while reviewing a number of rooms ahead of the inaugural meeting at the IKN Presidential Office, North Penajam Paser Regency (PPU), Monday, July 29.
"There is still cleaning, there is still finishing, everything is still in good progress," he said.
Regarding the percentage of the settlement, Jokowi asked reporters to ask the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono.
"Everything is still ongoing and today I will accept the meetings here, in the president's office," he said.
Jokowi held an internal meeting with a number of cabinet ministers. Those who were seen present in the lobby of the Presidential Office, namely the Minister of PUPR who is also the Acting Head of the IKN Authority Basuki Hadimuljono, the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, and the Acting Deputy OIKN Raja Juli.

According to him, the number of cabinet ministers present at the inaugural meeting was limited so as not to interfere with ongoing construction work.
"I don't invite everyone because there are still many who work, so that those who work are not disturbed," he said.
