UUS Bank DKI And The Fatahillah Jakarta Education Foundation Establish Sharia Banking Transaction Cooperation
JAKARTA - In order to expand the use of Islamic banking products in Bank DKI, especially in the world of education, Bank DKI together with the Fatahillah Education Foundation, Jakarta agreed to cooperate, which was officially marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the Utilization of Services and Sharia Banking Products, in Jakarta on Thursday, July 25.
With the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding, Bank DKI is ready to provide support for Islamic banking transactions for the Fatahillah Jakarta Education Foundation which oversees the Indonesian Jakarta STIE educational institution, starting from Cash Management System (CMS) services, the opening of Savings, Giro, and Deposito accounts, Hajj and Umrah registration services, to sharia economic potential empowerment programs for the community within the Fatahillah Education Foundation in Jakarta.
"Bank DKI's support for Islamic banking transactions at the Fatahillah Jakarta Education Foundation is part of our commitment to expand accessibility to Islamic financial services in various sectors, including the education ecosystem," said Bank DKI President Director Agus H. Widodo, in a written statement, Friday 26 July.
Furthermore, Agus expressed hope that this synergy could provide positive benefits for users of Bank DKI services in this Foundation, as well as the first step to increase financial inclusion in the Jakarta area.
In addition to support for Islamic financial services, this collaboration also includes the field of education, including dedication and research for lecturers, student internship programs, publication cooperation between institutions, and cooperation in other forms that benefit both parties.
The form of support from Bank DKI in the field of education is also realized, including the facilitator of the Jakarta Smart Card distribution and the Jakarta Superior Student Card, School Operational Assistance and Education Operational Assistance. Bank DKI has also launched a Student Loan program, namely a loan program to finance tuition fees with a multipurpose scheme that aims to provide affordable and easily accessible financial solutions for students.
Including the collaboration between Bank DKI and Gunadarma University, Padjadjaran University, STIA LAN, Institute of Domestic Administration, Jakarta State University, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, National University, Sebelas Maret State University and will continue to expand with a number of other leading universities.
