"After in class training for one day, the next day we invite students to the visit site or field visit to the JTTS Pekanbaru Section construction project Padang Section Sicin Lubuk Alung Padang, so that students can get an overview of the project and progress of toll road projects, as well as the atmosphere of work in the field," continued Adjib.

West Sumatra Province itself this year was chosen as the location for the implementation of the HK Teaching program because currently Hutama Karya is completing the government's mandate to build toll roads in the area.

Meanwhile, SMKN 1 Padang and SMKN 1 Pariaman were chosen with the consideration that the two schools had the same major as Hutama Karya's business, namely Construction and Property Engineering (TKP) and Building Information and Modeling Design (DPIB). In addition, of course, the location of the school is adjacent to the company's operational area.

HK Teaching this year is the second year, where the previous year was held in three schools in Bengkulu Province. Implemented independently, this program provides its own challenges in its implementation.

Mainly in assessing program effectiveness and the impact on increasing student skills, this program develops comprehensive learning evaluation methods, such as pre- and after-program tests, student satisfaction surveys, and long-term monitoring of student career developments.

"We hope that the benefits of this program can be felt directly by students and teaching staff at SMKN 1 Padang and SMKN 1 Pariaman. Of course, we also want this program to be sustainable and can be implemented in other areas in Indonesia, especially around JTTS," concluded EVP. Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya, Adjib Al Hakim.

One of the representatives of class XI students majoring in Design Modeling and Information on Building SMK Negeri 1 Padang, Marriva Ayudia Putri expressed her admiration for Hutama Karya as a large company in the construction sector who had the opportunity to visit her school. He admitted that previously he did not know much about Hutama Karya.

I hope that after this I can be more stable in pursuing careers in the fields of construction and buildings and hopefully Hutama Karya will become a more advanced company," he said.

This HK Teaching program really provides a new understanding for our students and opens their insight that majoring in buildings is not just about being a rough worker or laborer. Meanwhile, the Principal of SMKN 1 Pariaman, Anwar Sadat, appreciated Hutama Karya for the initiation of the implementation of the HK teaching program.

This is something we are waiting for and will have a good impact on students to increase knowledge, especially in the construction and construction of toll roads. In the future, hopefully HK Teaching can continue to run in our school," said Anwar.
