US Loses IDR 7.4 Trillion Due To B-1B Stealth Bombing Plane Burned
JAKARTA - The trained crew failed to monitor the decline in the speed of the Rockwell B-1B Lancer Stealth before a routine landing and was directly responsible for the plane landing failure worth nearly half a billion US dollars (Rp7.4 trillion) on January 4.
"The President of the Accident Investigation Board found that based on sufficient evidence that the cause of the accident was a lack of effective composite cross-check by the MC (Mishap Crew/Kru Kecelakaan)", said the report as quoted by ANTARA from Sputnik-OANA, Friday, July 26.Mishap Crew/Kru Kecelakaan (MC) is a personnel at the airport who are responsible for anticipating and handling aircraft accidents.
