Bank Mandiri Officially Launches First Golden Visa Service In Indonesia
JAKARTA - The Directorate General (Ditjen) of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) of the Republic of Indonesia officially launched the Golden Visa Program. Only by using Livin by Mandiri, all types of gold visas can be processed digitally and anywhere.
The Golden Visa program offers convenience in investing for foreigners in Indonesia with a residence permit of 5 or 10 years. Foreigners can invest their funds in various instruments including in state-owned banks.
Bank Mandiri became the first Bank in Indonesia to provide integrated services ranging from account opening to the issuance of Golden Visa.
Bank Mandiri was chosen as Golden Visa's first partner, one of which was because Livin' by Mandiri can be accessed in 121 world countries such as UK, Netherland, China, etc. various choices of investment product solutions are also available in Livin By Mandiri.
Bank Mandiri Director of Institutional Relations Rohan Hafas explained, this collaboration will help foreigners to open Savings Accounts using only Passports, Temporary Stay Permits (ITAS) / Permanent Stay Permits (ITAP) / Golden Visa via Livin by Mandiri.
"We are very enthusiastic about this collaboration because it will provide access for Bank Mandiri to provide convenience, security, and privillege in the process of submitting Golden Visa. We will optimize public services from the Directorate General of Immigration to foreigners to attract the attention of foreigners to invest their funds in Indonesia. That way, the country's economic growth will be helped," said Rohan Hafas while attending the Inauguration of Golden Visa at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Jakarta, Mega Kuningan, Thursday, July 25.

The bank with the gold ribbon logo explained that the Golden Visa program has the potential to encourage the growth of Bank Mandiri's sustainable third-party fund portfolio (DPK) in the future. The Directorate General of Immigration said the target in 2024 reached 1,000 potential registrants of Golden Visa
Until the end of May 2024, the total collection of third party funds (DPK) of Bank Mandiri has reached IDR 1,296.1 trillion. This achievement increased by 12.9% year on year (YoY) supported by low-cost funds or current account saving accounts (CASA).
