KPK Finds Porsche Cars Of Up To IDR 300 Million After Arresting Fake Employees

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) arrested an individual who claimed to be his employee today. From this process found evidence, including white Porsche money and cars.

"From the activity in question, IDR 300 million was secured, 1 unit of smartphone brand iPhone, 1 unit of white Porsche brand vehicle with police number B 1556 XD," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, July 25.

Tessa said a total of six people were arrested in the process. The details are YS who is a fake person, one driver, and four civil servants from the Bogor Regency Government.

YS, continued Tessa, was arrested while at the Mang Kabayan restaurant at around 13.30 WIB. At that time he had received Rp. 300 million from an unnamed Bogor Regency Government official.

"The team together with the person in question then headed to his residence at Villa Bogor Indah Housing in Bogor City and was then taken to the KPK's Red and White Building for clarification," he said.

"From the results of the provisional clarification, which is currently still ongoing, it is concluded that the person, the provisional conclusion is yes, this person is not a KPK employee," continued the spokesman with the investigator's background.

Tessa said the perpetrator worked alone. "Furthermore, the person concerned along with his money, belongings, and vehicles will be handed over by the KPK when the clarification activities are completed, in this case, the Bogor Police," he concluded.
