The Death Toll Of The Fishing Vessel Drowned In Falkland With 5 Indonesian Crew Members Increased To 13 People
JAKARTA - The number of victims who died as a result of the sinking of fishing vessels off the coast of the Falkland Islands increased to 13 after the search for survivors was stopped in the midst of storm weather.
This information was conveyed by the Norwegian ship owner to Reuters, Thursday, July 25.
A total of 27 crew members were on the Argos Georgia ship, a ship with the Saint Helena flag, 14 of which were rescued and nine others were found dead, Ervik Havfiske Holding said.

Four other crew members are still missing and are expected to be killed when the Falkland Islands government halted its search for survivors late Wednesday, said CEO Stig Ervik.
"We are truly saddened by the families who have lost their fathers and husbands," Ervik said.
The company, continued Ervik, has contacted the closest family of the crew member, who is feared to have died.
The crew consisted of 10 Spanish, eight Russians, five Indonesians, two Peruvians and two Uruguayans, all aged between 30 and 58.
