Big Investors Buy Bitcoin At The Crypto Market

JAKARTA Large investors or what is often called whales are buying up large amounts of Bitcoin (BTC). This is happening in the midst of the recent fluctuations in crypto prices.

According to Ki Young Ju, CEO of the CryptoQuant analytic platform, BTC flows to large investor wallets hit record highs. Analysis of balance changes over 30 days shows significant wealth shifts in the crypto market.

"Bitcoin is currently in the accumulated phase," said Ki Young Ju. In the past month, around 358,000 BTC has moved to the address of the long-term holder. In addition, institutional investor interest has also increased, as seen from the flow of funds into the global Bitcoin spot ETF which reached 53,000 BTC this month.

This phenomenon shows the strong trust of big investors in the future of Bitcoin. Although crypto prices are known to fluctuate, Bitcoin long-term holders, or those who keep BTC for at least 155 days, are reluctant to sell their crypto assets.

Whale's buying Bitcoin activity is considered a positive signal for the crypto market. The increased interest of institutional investors and the accumulation by whales show the potential growth of Bitcoin in the long term.

"With the increase in the flow of entry to the ETF spot and intense accumulation activity, Bitcoin shows significant growth potential," added Ki Young Ju.

For retail investors, this whale's buying Bitcoin activity can be a strong indicator to observe market movements. Although it does not necessarily guarantee price increases, this can be a positive sentiment that encourages other investors' interest.
