DKI Provincial Government Has Not Resolved 12.37 Percent Of BPK's Finding Problems During 2005-2023

JAKARTA - The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) noted that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has not followed up on 12 percent of the problems that the Supreme Audit Agency has found over the past 18 years, from 2005 to 2023.

This was revealed by Member V of the BPK as the Head of State Financial Audit V, Ahmadi Noor Supit, in the plenary meeting of the submission of the report (LHP) results of the examination of the DKI Jakarta regional government's financial report (LKPD) for the 2023 fiscal year.

So, currently the DKI Provincial Government has only followed up on 87.63 percent of the recommendations on BPK's findings.

"Based on follow-up monitoring data on the recommendations from the BPK examination results, up to the Semester II Monitoring Report in 2023, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has followed up on 8,188 recommendations from 9,344 recommendations or 87.63 percent of the total recommendations for the 2005 '2023 period," said Ahmad Noor Supit at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Thursday, July 25.

However, Ahmad Noor Supit said that the completion of the follow-up to the BPK recommendations achieved by the DKI Provincial Government exceeded the national scale target, which was 75 percent.

BPK asked the DKI Provincial Government to follow up on the remaining completion of the findings of the recommendation.

"I hope that the leadership and members of the DPRD can participate in monitoring the completion of the follow-up on the recommendations of the results of the examination contained in this LHP in accordance with their authority," said Ahmad Noor Supit.

For information, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has again received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the BPK on the results of the LKPD examination for the 2023 fiscal year.

This WTP predicate is the seventh time that has been maintained in a row since 2017 or during the leadership of Anies Baswedan as Governor of DKI Jakarta.

Despite winning the WTP title, BPK still found financial problems in the composition of the DKI Provincial Government's financial statements.

One of them is the potential for double recording of fixed land assets at the location of the land use appointment permit (SIPPT).

Then, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has also not received revenue from land leases from PT Jakarta Propertindo, Bank DKI, and other third parties.

BPK also found a volume shortage over the implementation of several work packages and the delay in completion of the work had not been subject to a fine.

Furthermore, the DKI Provincial Government does not yet have a recording mechanism for receiving direct grants from the central government. Also, the distribution of social assistance to several recipients does not meet the criteria at the Social Service and Education Office.
