US House Of Representatives Approves 'Pansus' Investigate Trump's Murder, 13 MPs Involved
JAKARTA - The United States (US) House of Representatives has unanimously supported the formation of a working group or a special committee (special committee) investigation into the assassination attempt against a Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump.
The formation of the special committee was supported by 416 members, without a single vote disagreeing. The'special committee' method can be legalized if it is supported by at least two-thirds of the members of the lower house of Congress.
Based on a CNN report, the chairman of the US House of Representatives from the Republican Party, Mike Johnson, said the special committee included seven members of the Republican Party and six members of the Democratic Party. The list of names of members of the special committee will be announced today.
The Special Committee for the assassination of Trump has been working on an investigation since July 17. They have a deadline for announcing the findings no later than December 13.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was shot during a speech at his campaign in Butler, Pennsylvania, USA on July 13. Trump suffered minor injuries to his ear.
The shooter was killed by a member of the US Secret Service.
Meanwhile, the FBI confirmed the shooting incident was an assassination attempt on Trump.
