Steady on Divorce, Kimberly Ryder Makes Sure Her Children Still Get Edward Akbar's Love

JAKARTA - Couple Kimberly Ryder and Edward Akbar are currently undergoing divorce proceedings at the Central Jakarta Religious Court (PA) after Kimberly previously filed a lawsuit against Edward.

After undergoing the mediation process at the initial trial, Kimberly said that Edward had actually filed a third divorce against her several months ago. This ultimately made Kim feel that there was no hope of reconciliation.

"Actually, it's Edward's third divorce. So we can't reconcile anymore. But again it depends on the judge's decision later. So the next mediation is just talking about the future of the child. That's all," said Kimberly Ryder at the Religious Court, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, July 24.

Apart from that, this 30 year old woman said that she and Edward had also been separated for the past few months. This was conveyed by Kimberly's attorney, Machi Ahmad.

"What is clear from the plaintiff is that they have separated from their homes, right? They haven't lived together for several months," explained Machi Ahmad.

Seeing this, Kimberly tried to explain to her children by saying that their father was working. "Daddy is working," said Kimberly.

Fortunately, Kimberly and Edward's two children were able to understand the condition of their parents who were in the process of divorcing. Even so, Kim ensured that in the future her two children would still receive full love from her and her family.

"It's safe. Thank God, all this time they have been kept busy so there are lots of people at home to love them too, to take care of them too," she explained.

"So, thank God, I am always at home every day to love them, so I have been safe all this time, thank God," she said.
