UKW-BUMN Gate Audit Results Say There Are No Deviations In PWI
JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI), Hendry Ch Bangun, announced the results of an audit of the Journalists Competency and Education Program (UKW) sponsored by the BUMN Public Relations Forum, or known as the UKW-BUMN Gate.
In the PWI Daily Management plenary meeting at the IVth Floor Press Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, July 23, Hendry stated, "There were no material and significant irregularities found on the factual UKW program receipt and expenditure report."
The audit was conducted by an independent accountant for the period 1 December 2023 to 30 April 2024, with report number 008/HT/LAI/VII/24. The audit results show that the Central PWI has fully implemented a Decree regarding the procedures for distributing incentives.
However, the Central PWI was asked to review the Decree regarding the allocation of cashback because it was considered random with the term gratification. "In addition, the Central PWI is advised to implement the SOP that has been made by the Management," added Hendry Ch Bangun.
