Gibran Admits That Free Nutrition Eating Until October 2024 Is Funded By Private Parties

BOGOR - Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka revealed that the trial of the implementation of the Free Nutrition Food Program until October 2024 was funded by the private sector."We are very happy, if there is no support from a private company, it might not go well like this, this is still a trial process," he said after reviewing the trial at SDN Sentul 03 and 02, Bogor Regency, West Java, Antara, Tuesday, July 23.According to him, after he and the elected President Prabowo Subianto launched the Free Nutrition Food Program, many parties were willing to participate, one of which was in the form of CSR."Many companies have been moved, including GoTo and Tiktok," said Gibran.Such as the trial of the implementation of the Free Nutrition Eating Program at SDN Sentul 03 and 02 initiated by GoTo with the presence of the President of Gojek, GoTo Business Unit On-Demand Service, Catherine Hindra Sutjahyo.Hundreds of food packages for the Free Nutrition Eating Program were delivered to schools using a Gojek delivery service, by deploying dozens of online or online motorcycle taxi drivers."Today's menu costs Rp. 14,900, including chicken, rice, vegetables, fruits, and milk. This also clarifies that the budget will be cut up to Rp. 7,500, that's not true," said Gibran.He ensured that the free nutritious food program budget would not be reduced to Rp7,500 per serving."For our children, the next generation of the nation, the budget should not be stingy. The menu is different, but it is impossible to reduce the budget to Rp7,500," said Gibran.According to him, this program will continue to be tested until October 2024 ahead of the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2024-2029.During the trial stage, the implementation of this nutritious lunch is carried out with various schemes, until a scheme is finally chosen which is considered the most effective.Based on this scheme, ranging from utilizing MSMEs, small stalls, wartegs, to small catering, in the procurement of food.
"So later if there is something missing, there is something that needs to be evaluated, I will immediately blow up, we until October will try various schemes," said the former Surakarta Mayor.
