JAKARTA - On July 19, significant global IT outages resulted in widespread disruptions in various sectors, resulting in important businesses, institutions, and services.
Although the cause was not a cyber attack, Chief Technology Officer, APAC, Hitachi Vantara Matthew totaled that this incident could serve as a reminder of the vulnerability in the digital world.
In addition, Matthew also said where this incident showed that the organization was not necessarily prepared to deal with the disruptions that occurred in the core business process.
"This highlights the importance of data protection and cyber resilience to ensure rapid recovery and business continuity," Matthew said in a statement on Tuesday, July 23.
