Aburizal Bakrie's Children Flood Support Towards Kadin Position 1
JAKARTA - The nomination exchange for the general chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) is starting to be busy being discussed. Some views say that Rosan S. Roeslani, the current Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will not compete again in the contest for the election of the chairman of Kadin for the period 2021-2026. It was reported that the name Rosan was being proposed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to the Indonesian Parliament to become the Indonesian Ambassador to the United States.
As is known, the position of ambassador in Uncle Sam's country is currently empty. Because the previous filler, Muhammad Lutfi, had been summoned by Jokowi to become Minister of Trade since the end of December 2020.
However, until now the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has not set a definite date for the national meeting (Munas). Even so, a number of regional administrators said that the event, which one of the main agendas of choosing a general chairman for the next 5 years, would be held before June 2021.

Chairman of the North Sumatra Kadin Ivan Batubara stated that when the economy is in a slump because of COVID-19 like this, entrepreneurs need to recover together. And a suitable Kadin Chairman is needed to rise.
"From the conclusion of our discussion, Bung Anin is a suitable figure," said Ivan Batubara on the sidelines of the Sumatra Kadin gathering in Batam, quoted from Antara, Friday, March 19.
Ivan said that his party had held a meeting with the Head of Kadin in urban districts in North Sumatra to determine the choice of the Chairman of the Indonesian Kadin, who was considered capable of continuing the struggle of the previous leader.
Furthermore, he considered that Anin had a lot of experience in the business world and organizations. Moreover, Anindya Bakrie has served at Kadin for 15 years and has proven to be able to complete difficult tasks well.

Agreeing with North Sumatra, the Chairman of Kadin Bangka Belitung Thomas Jusman also supported Anin to lead Kadin Indonesia.

Still at the same event, Deputy Chairman of the Aceh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Indra Azmi, stated that almost all regions support Anindya Bakrie.

The association of Indonesian exporters, trucks and pharmacies, supports AnindyaChairman of the Association of Indonesian Exporters of Entrepreneurs or GPEI Benny Soetrisno expressed his support for Anindya Novyan Bakrie as a candidate for Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the 2021-2026 period.

Benny revealed his reasons for supporting Anindya Bakrie in the election for Kadin chairman. He said, Anindya is a Kadin young generation who has been managing Kadin for a long time.
In addition, he assessed that Anindya also has advantages in terms of understanding how to make optimal use of digital technology. He emphasized that digital technology can provide added value to the economy.
Support for Anindya Bakrie also came from the Pharmaceutical Entrepreneurs Association (GP), the Indonesian Truck Entrepreneurs Association (Aptrindo), the Indonesian Medium Business Association (AUMI), the Indonesian Supporting Chemical Producers Association (APKAPI), and the Indonesian Entrepreneurs Association (Iwapi).

Iwapi General Chairman Nita Yudi considered Anindya to be the right person to lead the parent organization of these entrepreneurs. This is because Anindya is considered to have a qualified capacity.
"Seeing Pak Anin's journey, there are many hopes. He often goes to the regions, often receives regional input. Iwapi is very supportive of Anin by seeing his expertise," said Nita.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he continued, entrepreneurs needed young figures who were able to adapt quickly to raise various business sectors from economic pressures.
