The Role Of The Committee When The KKP Procurement Of SKIPI Was Researched By The KPK
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is exploring the role of certain parties in the process of procuring the Indonesian Fishery Inspection Ship (SKIPI) system at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP).
This was conveyed by KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika after the three witnesses were examined on Monday, July 22. The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.
"The material being investigated is related to the role of witnesses in the process of procuring the Indonesian Fishery Inspection Ship System (SKIPI) at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP)," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika in a statement, Monday, July 22.
The three witnesses who have been examined are Rosiman (RS), Teguh Wibowo (TW), and Teuku Elvitraysah (TE). The three of them are the Supervisory Consultant Procurement Committee.
Previously reported, the KPK named four suspects in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of patrol boats at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise and the KKP. They are the President Director of PT Daya Radar Utama (PT DRU), Amir Gunawan; the official commitment maker (PPK) of Customs and Excise, Istadi Prajastanto; Chairman of the Auction Committee, Heru Sumarwanto; and Aris Rustandi as PPK KKP.
Istadi, Amir, and Heru are suspected of committing a number of unlawful acts in the procurement process to the implementation of the procurement work for 16 fast patrol boats (Fast Patrol Boats/FCB) at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise.
Then, both of them were also suspected of having caused problems in signing the work contract for the procurement of 4 60-meter ships for the Fishery Inspection Ship System (SKIPI) at the Directorate General of Marine Resources and Fisheries of the KKP. The contract value of this project is USD 58,307,789.
