TNI Commander Inaugurates 350 2024 Force Career Officers

JAKARTA - TNI Commander General TNI Agus Subiyanto inaugurated 350 career officers consisting of 141 officers from the Army, 108 officers from the Navy, and 101 officers from the Indonesian Air Force. In the Prasetya Perwira (Praspa) Ceremony of Career Soldier Officers of the TNI 2024, which is the culmination of the recruitment and education stages of the career officers, the TNI Commander reiterated increasingly dynamic and complex front task challenges. "For this reason, the science and skills during education in the Military Education and Training Command (Command of Education and Training) can be used as a basis by developing professionalism that becomes the basis for continuing their respective branches as well as as as a provision of service in the new units later," said the TNI Commander at the time of the ceremony as quoted by ANTARA, Monday 22 July. As many as 350 career soldiers who were inaugurated and taken into account today have completed their first education in Magelang, Central Java, for 7 months. Within that time, they studied basic soldiers for 3 months, basic class education for 2 months, and matra education for 1 month. "As youth officers, you are required to answer various challenges, developments, and changes of the situation as well as being role models for members," said the TNI Commander to 350 career officers who currently hold the rank of second lieutenant (letda).Oleh therefore, the Commander asked them to continue to learn and practice in order to fulfill demands for increasing self-capacity, both attitude, behavior, and knowledge, and skills. On the same occasion, the Commander closed his mandate by providing five instructions. First, they were asked to make Sapta Marga Soldiers and 8 Deputy TNI as guidelines in the duties and life of society, nation, and state. Second, the Commander also asked them to prioritize their spirit as responsive, tough, and trending officers. Third, the Commander ordered the soldier to uphold the officer's code of ethics wherever on duty. Fourth, the Commander asked the officers to take advantage of technology to support their duties. Most recently, the Commander asked the officers to become reliable TNI soldiers.

Of the 350 career officers who were inaugurated today, two officers won the title of the best graduate, who received the Trisura Wanodya Wiratama award. Both are male soldiers Letda (T) Afiya Karyana from the sea dimension, and female soldier Letda Chk (K) Gabriella Monica Muaya from the land dimension. The award for the best graduate was given directly by the TNI Commander during the ceremony. During the ceremony, the officer who acted as the ceremonial commander was Marine Colonel Siddiq. He served as Deputy Commander of the Officer School for Career Soldiers at the TNI Kodiklat First Education Center.
