BPH Migas Calls Sub-Distribution Regulations For Fuel Distribution Efforts On Target
JAKARTA - The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) said regulations regarding sub-distribution are the government's efforts to ensure the availability and smooth distribution of subsidized fuel and state compensation to be more targeted and on volume.
BPH Migas has issued Regulation of BPH Migas Number 1 of 2024 concerning Distribution of Certain Types of Oil Fuel (BBM) and Types of Special Assignment Fuel (JBKP) in Sub-Distributors in Disadvantaged, Frontier, Outermost, or Remote Areas.
"There is a need for a distribution mechanism for certain types of fuel and special types of fuel for assignments, especially in areas where there are no distributors," said Head of BPH Migas Erika Retnowati quoting Antara.
According to Erika, the Regulation of BPH Migas Number 1 of 2024 regulates the criteria for sub-scattering, sub-scattering requirements, submission of applications for sub-scattering candidates, and evaluation and verification of submission of sub-scattering candidates.
"Thus, the policies that we have issued are beneficial for the community, especially in the implementation of the distribution of certain types of fuel and specifically for assignments throughout the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia," he said during the Socialization of Regulation BPH Migas Number 1 of 2024 in Bandung, West Java, Thursday (18/7/2024).
Member of the BPH Migas Committee Abdul Halim added that the distributor can help users to get fuel directly.
"Subnyalur is a member of a user consumer who can directly obtain fuel collectively and is directly used for the benefit of the consumer," he explained.

"We really hope for support from regional heads, especially regents and mayors, who currently have several sub-distributors in their regions to review their existence and requirements whether they are in accordance with the provisions of the BPH Migas Regulation Number 1 of 2024," he said.
On this occasion, members of the BPH Migas Committee Iwan Prasetya Adhi and Harya Adityawarman were also present, Director of BBM BPH Migas Sentot Harijady BTP, Director of AKR Johny Sutanto, VP of PSO Management Pertamina Patra Niaga Irto Ginting, and representatives of local governments.
