KSEI Collaborates With 23 RDN Administrator Banks

PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) has determined and signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with 23 Bank Administrators of Customer Fund Accounts (Bank Administrator RDN) and Payment Banks.

As for the details, as many as 15 banks have previously become RDN Administrator Banks and Payment Banks, and eight banks are new.

KSEI President Director Samsul Hidayat explained that this collaboration was carried out for the period 2024-2029, as an effort to increase the ease of investor access to investment in the capital market.

Unlike previously, he explained that in the 2024-2029 period, all RDN Administrator Banks will also play a role as KSEI Payment Banks, so that they can carry out the function of completing securities transactions in the capital market, as well as providing alternatives to providing intraday facilities to Stock Companies.

"The selection of RDN Administrator Banks and Payment Banks for the period 2024-2029 is carried out through a fairly long and transparent process, inviting Commercial Banks and Regional Development Banks (BPD) who have become BI-RTGS and BI-FAST participants to take part in the selection," said Samsul quoting Antara.

The 23 banks are PT Allo Bank Indonesia Tbk, PT Bank BCA Syariah, PT Bank Capital Indonesia Tbk, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk, and PT Bank DBS Indonesia.

Then, PT Bank Digital BCA, PT Bank Ina Perdana Tbk, PT Bank Jago Tbk, PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk, PT Bank Mega Tbk, and PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk.

Then, PT Bank Multiarta Sentosa Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk, PT Bank Panin Tbk, PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk, PT Bank Permata Tbk, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Sinarmas Tbk, and PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk.

On the same occasion, the Chief Executive of the Capital Market Supervisory, Derivative Finance and Carbon Exchange of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Inarno Djajadi said that this KSEI cooperation shows that mutually beneficial business cooperation between the capital market industry and the Indonesian banking industry.

In addition, it shows a strong synergy between the capital market industry and the banking industry in supporting the development, deepening of the market, as well as increasing financial inclusion through increasing the number of investors in the Indonesian capital market.

"Positive growth in capital market performance, one of which is shown by the growth in the number of investors, cannot be achieved without the support and contribution of all stakeholders in the capital market, including Bank Administrator RDN and Payment Banks who have a strategic role in the Indonesian capital market ecosystem," said Inarno.
