Steve Jobs' 1983 Video Went Viral, Already Discussed AI Technology

JAKARTA - An old Steve Jobs video at the 1983 International Design Conference on how technology will change the way things do things, recently released on a Steve Jobs Archive website.

The site features a 28-year-old video recording of Steve Jobs at the "The Objects of Our Life" exhibition taking place in the Aspen.

In the 55-minute video, Jobs predicts that in 1986 PC sales will surpass car sales, and in the next ten years, people will spend more time on PCs than in cars.

"People will spend more time interacting with these machines than interacting with other people," Jobs said in his presentation.

Although it was considered impossible in the 89s, he asked designers in attendance to start thinking about the design of future technological products.

One of the reasons I'm here is because I need your help. Whether the computer looks bad or good," he continued.

In addition, in one of the video clips seen by Macworld, it can be seen explaining what exactly the initial work can be done with artificial intelligence (AI).

"Human thinking is very good in doing complicated things well. And now many people are starting to see the brain as an architectural model for building computers," he said.

According to him, when there are a million people who use something, that's when creativity really begins to occur on a fast scale.
