Inaugurated As Deputy Minister Of Investment, Yuliot Wants To Make Sure The Indonesian Investment Climate Can Be Better
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially inaugurated Yuliot Tanjung as Deputy Minister of Investment/Deputy Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) today.
After carrying out the new position, Yuliot wants to ensure that the investment climate in the country is better and the targets that the Ministry of Investment/BKPM wants to achieve can be completed.
"By appointing us as Deputy Minister of Investment, we will prioritize how the investment climate is better and also the achievements of these targets can be achieved by 2024," said Yuliot when met at the Ministry of Investment/BKPM office, Jakarta, Thursday, July 18.
He added that he would focus on accelerating investment as well as improving services in the online single submission or OSS system.
"We will (improve the acceleration of investment services, including in the OSS system. Our (Focus) is to accelerate investment," he said.
Based on information from the Special Staff of the Ministry of Investment/BKPM Tina Talisa, before being inaugurated as Deputy Minister of Investment, Yuliot held a functional position as the Main Expert Managing Manager for the Ministry of Investment/BKPM.
Yuliot also served as Deputy for Investment Control from September 2023 to June 2024.
During his time at the deputy, Yuliot focused on achieving investment realization and facilitation in solving investment problems faced by the company.

Not only that, Yuliot has also served as Deputy for Investment Climate Development since October 2020-September 2023.
Yuliot's career at the Ministry of Investment/BKPM began in 1988, who later served as Head of the BKPM Representative Office in Taiwan, Head of the Planning and Information Bureau, Director of Domestic Promotion, Director of Region II Implementation Control and Director of Deregulation.
Born on October 7, 1963 in Padang Panjang, West Sumatra, Yuliot is a graduate of the Livestock Production Bachelor of Andalas University and the Master Management of the PPM Management College.
