JAKARTA - Nissan announced the return of Nismo's top performance division to the European market by immediately launching Ariya Nismo, an electric-powered SUV.
Details about the specifications of the European version of the Ariya Nismo model are still limited, while the Japanese version offers two choices of powertrains. Nismo has also teased fans with the announcement of a new model that will be launched on July 18 through the manufacturer's Youtube channel.
NISMO is back in Europe! We bring this attractive brand back to the market with a new and fresh model. As we push electrification on our product lineup, it is important for us to continue to offer elite and attractive models to customers and also NISMO fans," said European Nissan's Vice President of Marketing & Sales Division Mayra Gonz Saylez, in a manufacturer release, July 17.
He also added that Arya NISMO provided a perfect balance between the quick response and acceleration of electric cars and the mechanical refinement of sports cars, resulting in an extraordinary car for daily driving.
Launching Carscoops, July 17, Nissan's ranks in Europe have tended to be dominated by crossovers and vans, making them less attractive to car lovers with character. However, with Nismo's return, hopes for a more sporting choice began to grow. Unfortunately, it was not Z Nismo who will attend, but Ariya Nismo.
