The Renovation Of The Gianyar Tampaksiring Presidential Palace Worth IDR 56.95 Billion Is Targeted To Be Completed In 2 Months
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Bali Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center (BPPW) of the Directorate General of Human Settlements is renovating the Tampaksiring Presidential Palace in Gianyar Regency, Bali Province.
The reason is, a number of infrastructures for the Tampaksiring Presidential Palace building in Gianyar Regency were damaged, one of which was on the roof.
Director of Building Arrangement of the Directorate General of Human Settlements of the Ministry of PUPR Cakra Nagara said, in general, the condition of the Presidential Palace building of Tampaksiring is still virtually good, but there is damage to the architectural/finishing section, patchy wall paint and ceiling cover damaged due to leakage and seepage rain on the roof of the building.
"The leak is due to the fact that the roof cover in the form of sirap ulin has begun to be damaged. This activity not only needs buildings, but also environmental infrastructure facilities at the Presidential Palace Tampaksiring, among others, mobile fences, asphalt roads and the environment," Cakra said as quoted from the official website of the Ministry of PUPR, Tuesday, July 16.
Cakra said that the renovation was carried out from December 29, 2023 to September 7, 2024, with a physical contract value of Rp56.95 billion through the 2023-2024 State Budget by the Implementing Contractor of PT Joglo Multi Ayu.
"Currently, the physical progress has reached 79 percent and is targeted to be completed in September 2024," he said.
The scope of renovation work includes a number of buildings including independent guesthouses, friendly bridges, state guesthouses, yudhistira guesthouses and judhistira pavilions, plenary buildings, plenary pavilions, mess buildings, Wantilan mess, mobile fences, asphalt roads and the environment, SMKK workers and preparation work.

For access to this location, it takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes to use land transportation. This is because the Tampaksiring Presidential Palace area is about 42 kilometers (km) from the center of Denpasar City.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of Commission V of the Indonesian House of Representatives and Chairman of Tm Kunker, Roberth Rouw, hopes that the work on the renovation of the Tampaksiring Presidential Palace can be completed as soon as possible.
"We (Commission V DPR RI) hope that this renovation will be completed on time. So, visiting activities for VVIP service support and the community can be carried out optimally again," he said.
