The Number Of Passengers At Radin Inten Airport Rose 124,166 People In Semester I 2024

JAKARTA - The number of passengers at Radin Inten II Airport in Lampung in Semester I 2024 increased by 124,166 people compared to the same period in 2023. This number increased from the same period in the previous year with a total passenger movement of 349,668 people.

So that in the first semester of 2024 there was a growth in passenger movement of 124,166 people. "We recorded that the percentage increase in passenger movement in the first semester was quite significant at 36 percent. Meanwhile, for aircraft movements in January-June, the total reached 2,904 movements from the previous period in 2023, only 2,404 aircraft movements," he said. He explained, in June 2024 the total movement of passengers in the airport reached 84,912 people and the total movement of aircraft 513 times. Currently, the average number of passengers as a whole at Radin Inten II Airport reached 2,830 passengers per day, with the seat occupancy rate reaching 85 percent. Meanwhile, the level of time accuracy reached 93 percent,'' he explained. According to him, the upward trend in the number of passenger and aircraft movements was due to the addition of flights from and to Radin Inten II Airport during the January-June 2024 period. Such as the addition of domestic flight routes with Lampung-Batam (BTH) flight routes by Super Air Jet airlines, Denpasar (DPS) routes, Yogyakarta (YIA) and Krui (TFY) which had already been operating in early 2024.
