Velodrome Bus Stop Closed Due To Jakarta LRT Construction, Transjakarta Provide Bus Stop
JAKARTA - PT Transjakarta provides a temporary bus stop to replace the Velodrome Bus Stop service on Jalan Pemuda, East Jakarta. For the time being, the Velodrome Bus Stop was closed due to the construction of the 1B phase of the Jakarta LRT construction.
"This adjustment is carried out as an alternative to the closure of the Velodrome Bus Stop temporarily to facilitate customer mobility," said Head of the Public Relations and CSR Department of PT Transjakarta Wibowo in his statement, Monday, July 15.
Thus, there are several adjustments to bus routes that stop at bus stop points. Route 4 (Pulogadung - Galunggung) is diverted to serve bus stops on the edge. Galunggung direction stops at Bus Stop Velodrome 3. Meanwhile, Pulo Gadung direction will stop at Bus Stop Jakarta International Velodrome.
Then, the 4D Route (Pulo Gadung - Kuningan) was diverted to serve bus stops on the edge. Kuningan direction stopped at Bus Stop Velodrome 3. Pulo Gadung direction will stop at Bus Stop Jakarta International Velodrome.
As is known, the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency carried out traffic engineering on Jalan Pemuda and its surroundings, as a result of the work on removing box girders for the Jakarta LRT project phase 1B.

Syafrin explained that the work of removing box girders was divided into several sessions in stages, from July 4 to August 7. The work was carried out 22.00-04.00 WIB.
