Monday Morning, Papua New Guinea PM Meets Jokowi At The Bogor Palace
BOGOR - Papua New Guinea's Prime Minister (PM) James Marape met with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the Bogor Presidential Palace on Monday, July 15, 2024.
Jokowi welcomed the arrival of Marape and his entourage together with the ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.
The motorcade of PM James Marape's vehicle and the delegation arrived at the Bogor Palace at 10.00 WIB.
President Jokowi, who was accompanied by a number of ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, received PM James Marape and a delegation at the Bogor Palace yard.
The two leaders then introduced delegates from each country. The Indonesian delegations who attended were Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Nadiem Makarim and Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi.
After introducing each other's delegates, President Jokowi then invited PM James Marape to take a photo together and sign a state guest book in the Lotus Room, Bogor Palace.
The two leaders then headed to the veranda yard to chat for a moment.
Based on the information gathered, this is PM James Marape's second official state visit.
