Hutama Karya Adjusts Binjai-Stabat Toll Road Tariffs

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) in the near future will carry out adjustments and tariff determinations on both Binjai-Langsa Toll Road section 1 Binjai-Stabat and Section 2 Stabat-Tanjung Pura.

This was done following the issuance of the Decree (SK) of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) No. 1478 / KPTS / M / 2024 concerning Adjustments to the Binjai Langsa Section 1 (Binjai-Stabat) Tariff and Determination of Section 2 Tariffs (Stabat-Tanjung Pura).

Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya Adjib Al Hakim in a statement in Medan, North Sumatra, quoted from Antara, Monday, July 15, said that previously the company had carried out massive socialization to the public regarding the tariff adjustment.

Hutama Karya conducted socialization through a number of online communication channels to space media such as banners, billboards installed along toll roads.

In that case, the company also conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) together with relevant policy makers, regulators, academics and policy observers and others.

"We hope that the socialization that has been carried out can increase the understanding of toll road users regarding good and correct driving rules on toll roads and the benefits of the presence of this toll road," said Adjib Al Hakim.

Adjib Al Hakim said that in the FGD held with the policy maker, the company received feedback from Key Opinion Leader and regulators in improving the quality and service of toll roads.
