1Password Can Share Wi-Fi Password With QR Code
JAKARTA 1Password, a password manager app, launched a new feature that can improve the user experience. With this new feature, 1Password users can share passwords. Through its community page, 1Passwords says that they have released Wi-Fi password sharing capabilities with QR codes. This feature will be available on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, to Linux. "Pert your Wi-Fi network name and password easily via QR codes with family and friends around by asking them to scan the code, there is no need for additional links or taps," said 1Password. How the work of this feature is simple. You only need to open the 1Password application, open the stored Wi-Fi data, then the QR code will appear automatically. If your Wi-Fi password has not been saved, you can create a new item for Wireless Routers at home, then, enter the Wi-Fi name in the Network Name column and enter the password in the Network Password column. Once saved, the QR code will appear. QR code will appear by default whenever you save the Wi-Fi password. If you are more interested in hiding the QR code, you can open Settings, tap the Security menu, then delete the Always Show Wi-Fi QR Code. Once the QR code is hidden, you have to tap on the QR code first if you want to share the password. Keep in mind that this feature is still rolling out. If you haven't seen the feature, you have to wait until the launch is complete.
