Motorcycle Accident, Grandmother, Mother And Child Fell Into A River In Ubud Bali

GIANYAR - A single accident occurred in Gianyar, Bali. A family riding a motorbike fell into the river.

The victims were Ni Komang Ayu Ardani (37) I Putu Kevin Ramansa (10) and Ni Ketut Rindit (55). The car crashed into the Petanu River, Ubud District, Gianyar.

"Laka then took a motorbike and fell into the river," said the Head of the Ubud Police, AKP I Gede Sudyatmaja, Friday, March 19.

The accident started when they got on a motorbike with police number DK 6488 KAD driven by Ni Komang Ayu. The other two people are on the pig.

Witnesses at the location said that the motorbike passed when it rained heavily. At that time the witness saw that the motorbike had fallen into the river.

From this information, the pecalang came and contacted the local BPBD to look for victims.

At around 21.00 WITA, Thursday, March 18, officers found one victim, Putu Kevin Ramansa. The victim was found safe about 150 meters from the crash site of the motorbike.

"The victim was not injured and only cold," said Sudyatmaja.

Not long after, victim Ni Ketut Rindit was found 300 meters from the accident site. Rindit passed away.

Meanwhile, the victim Ni Komang Ayu Ardani has yet to be found. Officers conducted a search around the Petanu River.

According to the police, it is suspected that the accident occurred because the driver could not control the motorbike on the downhill curving road. During the accident, the road was slippery because of the rain.
