Witness In Corruption Case Of Dredging Shipping Flows A Number Of Ports Called KPK Died
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that one of the witnesses in the corruption case of dredging shipping lanes at a number of ports, Johnny Rungu Silalahi, the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) died.
This was conveyed by KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika when delivering the results of the witness examination today, Thursday, July 11.
"Johnny Rungu Silalahi is dead," Tessa told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.
In addition, a person who was summoned was also absent because he could not be contacted. Tessa said, the witness is Adang Rodiana who is a retired ASN Ministry of Transportation.
"The cellphone number is not active," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK conducted a new investigation into allegations of corruption in the work package for dredging shipping lanes at several ports in Indonesia. Nine people have been named as suspects.
The anti-corruption commission said the alleged corruption occurred between 2013 and 2017 in a number of ports. This practice is said to have occurred in Tanjung Mas, Samarinda, Benoa, and Pulang Pisau.
