PGG spokesman Aleksandra Wysocka-Siembiga said the landslide occurred at the Rydultowy mine.

At that time there were 68 miners in the area, 15 of whom were evacuated.

Wysocka-Siembiga said 10 of the 15 people rescued were hospitalized in stable condition.

There are 53 (still) underground miners. The alarming information we can provide is that we currently have no contact with the two workers," he said.
