Polestar Showcases BST Electric Car Concept At Goodwood Festival Of Speed

JAKARTA - Polestar's high-performance electric car brand is back at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (11-14 July) with a wider lineup of models. This year's edition not only features Polestar 2 which is familiar, but also the arrival of the two newest electric SUVs, Polestar 3 and Polestar 4.

However, the main star at the prestigious automotive event is Polestar Concept BST which is based on the Polestar 6. This concept car made its global debut at Goodwood, stealing visitors' attention with aggressive and futuristic designs.

"Now we have become a brand with three production models. It's nice to be able to show them together for the first time at a global event," said Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar, in a manufacturer release, July 11.

"Goodwood Festival of Speed is full of the most attractive cars and the most enthusiastic audience. So, this is the perfect location to show off Polestar Concept BST," he added.

Polestar Concept BST comes with a special silver body typical of the world of motorsport, complete with muscular curves, wider tracks, and 22-inch alloy rims. The engine hood is optimized aerodynamically with a unique ventilation design, flanked by an aggressive front splitter.

Nuansa motorsport continues to the back with extreme wings and graphics inspired by racing patterns and no information on machine specifications and more yet.

Meanwhile, Polestar 6 which will be sold in 2026, which is in a special area, will be demonstrated directly by climbing Goodwood Hillclimb. This car was built with Polestar 5 using the Polestar Performance Architecture (PPA) platform made from aluminum which is specially assembled.

Not only that, exhibition visitors who want to feel the sensation of driving in a Polestar electric car are available for test drive sessions along Molecomb Drive in the Goodwood area. Registration for test drives can be done directly at the Polestar booth.
