Volvo Presents Black Edition Series In Three Electrification Models And Relives Two Models Of Wagon In The UK

JAKARTA - Automotive manufacturer from Sweden, Volvo is now offering the Black Edition variant on the pure EC40 and EX40 electric vehicle (EV) models and the millid-hybrid XC40 for the British market.

Not only that, but Volvo also returned two estate cars or wagons to the UK, V60 and V90 markets due to increasing demand for these two models. The Black Edition package was also presented to both of them.

Launching from the brand's official website, Wednesday, July 10, the Black Edition model has an all-black exterior style that stands out from the Onyx Black color, the black front goal of the high gloss, the Volvo emblem, and added a five-inch high-gloss black rim.

This package is available in two options, namely Plus and Ultra. Each has different premium equipment and comfort.

Starting from Plus, this package includes a number of features such as a heating steering wheel and an external back seat, a front parking sensor, a driver's seat with memory settings, a state-of-the-art air-purification system, and a Suede/microtech Connect textile coating.

The two EC40 and EX40 models equipped with these packages have an energy-efficient heat pump system that can work to help maximize driving range.

Meanwhile, Ultra plans offer a number of advanced and premium features such as a 360-degree surround-view parking camera system and LED pixel headlights with adaptive shadow technology.

In addition, the Ultra option also offers a foldable back-headed back-border, a shifting panoramic sunset, powered passenger seat, and a 600W Harman Kardon 12-peaker audio system with a Dolby Pro Logic II surround sound.

Two EV, EC40 and EX40 models offer a number of drive options. Volvo offers a 252 dk strong rear wheel drive (RWD) for Single Motor Extended Range and all-wheel-drive (AWD) Twin Motor Performance pumping 442 dk of power.

For the XC40 model, the manufacturer based in Gothenburg, Sweden also offers options for the B3 variant with 163 dk and B4 personnel with 197 dk of power, all of which carry a mild-hybrid system.

Moving to V60, this luxury car is given a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system, combining 145 dk electric motors with 253 dk of gasoline engines on T6 and 310 dk on T8. The car is also offered with a millid-hybrid with 197 dk engines.

A larger model called V90 offers the same driving options as the T6 option in Plus and T8 for Ultra.

Speaking of prices, all Black Edition packages are offered ranging from XC40 to 40,720 pounds up to 46,620 pounds (Rp847.3 million to Rp970.1 million). Then, EC40 and EX40 Black Edition are priced from 55,055 to 63,105 pounds (Rp1.14 billion to Rp1.3 billion).

The V60 model costs 43,370 pounds up to 57,635 pounds (Rp902.5 million to Rp1.19 billion) and V90 for 62,280-70,780 pounds (Rp1.2 billion to Rp1.4 billion).

The V60 and V90 models of Black Edition have been sold now and the first shipments to customers in the UK will begin in the third quarter of this year.
