Kaesang Tinggi Survey In Central Java, PDIP: Not Patokan, We See His Figure And Ability

JAKARTA - PDIP DPP chairman Djarot Syaiful Hidayat assessed that the survey results were not a benchmark for his party to carry governor candidates. Especially for the Jakarta Pilkada and Central Java Pilkada, Djarot said, PDIP opens opportunities for all potential figures.

This was said by Djarot in response to the survey results of President Joko Widodo's youngest son as well as PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep, the highest in Central Java.

"For us, not only do we have to think about the results of the current survey, but more, if we look at the figure, yes, capacity, integrity, and ability," said Djarot, Tuesday, July 9.

Then, he continued, PDIP must also listen to the voices of the people below. As well as what kind of grassroots are about the figure to be carried.

"So it's not too rushed either. Because later what will be affected, or the benefits are the voters. So, let's listen, including how the problems faced by each region and must be solved," he said.

Therefore, Djarot said, PDIP is very serious in preparing candidates for regional heads to be promoted, including in the Central Java Pilkada. Including being serious about preparing for the electoral victory by training the regional election winning team.

"That's why in us a national election winning team has been formed, including strengthening the DPP by adding personnel. Because the 2024 regional elections are the first time, yes, there are 514 regencies and 37 provinces," said Djarot.
