Hutama Karya Asks PMN 2025 For IDR 13.8 Trillion To Build Trans Sumatra Toll Road
JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (HK) has proposed a state capital participation (PMN) for the 2025 fiscal year of IDR 13.8 trillion. The funds will be used to carry out government assignments related to the construction of the trans Sumatra toll road (JTTS).
This was conveyed by the President Director of PT Hutama Karya (Persero) Budi Harto in a hearing (RDP) with Commission VI of the DPR at the DPR Building, Jakarta, Monday, July 8.
"The PMN 2025 plan is IDR 13.8 trillion to fulfill part of the equity portion in a number of JTTS sections," said Budi,
Budi said that of the total PMN proposed, Rp7.6 trillion was used for the construction of the Jambi-Rengat toll road. Then, Rp5.8 trillion for the Rengat-Junction section of Pekanbaru and the technical planning of JTTS phase III amounting to Rp400 billion.
Furthermore, Budi explained that JTTS with a total length of 2,854 km is divided into four stages, of which stage I is targeted to be completed this year. Where the Jambi-Rengat and Rengat-Junction Pekanbaru toll roads are the backbone of the construction of JTTS phase II.
"The JTTS progress until which is financed by PMN until June 30, 2024, Hutaka Karya has built a length of 800 km and plus this October there will be 166 km, so until October it will operate 996 km," said Budi.

Hutama Karya during the 2015 to 2024 period, continued Budi, had received PMN of IDR 131 trillion which had absorbed IDR 92.4 trillion or around 75 percent until June 2024.
Budi emphasized that all PMN given by the state is used by companies to build JTTS. He also said PMN is very crucial for the company in improving the capital structure and increasing the company's capacity in continuing the implementation of the assignment to accelerate JTTS development.
"(JTTS) increases the potential for fiscal acceptance and is able to increase employment along the corridors in JTTS," he said.
