First Impression Of Seeing Chery Tiggo 8, Sporty SUV Worth IDR 400 Million With A Myriad Of Interesting Features
JAKARTA - PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) officially introduced the latest model, namely Tiggo 8 to complete the Tiggo 8 Pro series which had previously been sold.
This car goes into the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment with some differences over the Tiggo 8 Pro variant, especially from an exterior that gives a sporty impression thanks to a new touch.
From the presentation submitted to the media crew, the changes to the exterior include a newural design with a glaxy front face and an elongated logo. From the side side, there are three streams that provide a stable function when braking. On the back, there is a chrom coated double exhaust, a dynamic light with an LED crystal, and an 18-inch rim. In dimensions, Tiggo 8 has a length of 4,722 mm, a width of 1,860 mm, and a height of 1,705 mm.
"This change makes the appearance of the car more stylish and strengthens the impression of the SUV," said Product Planning Manager of PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI), Eko Fachruroji, during the first impression event in the Senayan area, Jakarta, Monday, July 8.
In addition, many features are embedded in Chery Tiggo 8, including a 360-degree rear camera and an Advanced Driving Assistant System (ADAS) 9 that provides convenience to users, as well as Electric Panoramic Sunrooft.

Different things can also be seen in the heart of the runway. Tiggo 8 Pro uses the R1X platform with a four-cylinder gasoline engine with a capacity of 2,000 cc which produces a maximum power of 250 dk and a torque of 390 Nm.
"Tiggo 8 is specially made for the Indonesian market with 1,600 cc turbo gasoline engines, producing a maximum power of 185 PS and 275 Nm torque," added Eko Fachruroji.
The price for Tiggo 8 has not been announced, but it is estimated that it will be cheaper than the Tiggo 8 Pro variant which sells for IDR 528.5 million. Chery will use the GIIAS event to release the price.
"The price may be around 400-450 million, but there is still no exact price," said PT CSI Head of Marketing, Ilham Pratama.
