Xiaomi SU7 Electric Sedan Exhibited In India, Will The First Target Of Sales Apart From China?

JAKARTA - Since the launch of the Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan, it has become a prima donna and is in demand on the market. Not only is it sturdy from the frame material, technology and battery reach are also impressive.

Until now, Xiaomi's electric sedan is still being marketed in China but Xiaomi has confirmed that it will showcase its first electric sedan in India.

This refers to India's local media report Rushlane, quoted Monday, July 8. Reportedly, the car will first be introduced in India on July 9 in Bengaluru during the Xiaomi exhibition.

The Xiaomi exhibition at Bengaluru is a way for the brand to showcase its capabilities and showcase a variety of product portfolios in various sectors and genres. Currently, Xiaomi's largest consumer product business in India revolves around smartphones.

However, the exhibition in Bengaluru is said to display many new products that will be sold in various categories. One of these categories is electric cars.

Xiaomi seems only interested in promoting and showing off its first electric car, Xiaomi SU7 in India. This move will provide new perspectives to consumers and companies to demonstrate the greatness of their techniques and manufacturing in broader categories, compared to just being known through smartphones.

It is reported that Xiaomi will assess India as a potential market for its electric vehicles, but officially a Xiaomi India spokesperson stated that the company has no intention of launching the electric sedan on the Asian continent.

If later India becomes SU7's destination, the model will compete with BYD Seal and the top variant (SU7) to be the right choice, let alone pack a 101 kWh battery which has a range of 800 km, and is equipped with a dual motorcycle setup with 663 hp and 838 Nm torque, and a maximum speed of 265 km/hour.
