Egypt Meets Israeli-US-Hamas Representatives In The Next Week, Dialogue On Ceasefire Continues

JAKARTA - Talks related to the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, Palestine will be held again. Egypt as a mediator is scheduled to meet representatives of Israel and the United States (US) in Cairo over the next week.

Al Qahera Al Ekhbariya television reported the meeting based on information from a high-level source at an Egyptian government agency.

"Egypt will receive Israeli and US delegations to discuss unresolved issues related to the ceasefire agreement in Gaza," said a source, quoted from Tass.com, Sunday, July 7.

After that, the Egyptian side will continue the results of talks with Israel and the US to representatives of Hamas.

"As part of Cairo's efforts to reach an agreement on the ceasefire and the exchange of hostages," he continued.

The source added that in order to stem Israel's war against Hamas in Palestine, these negotiations will continue to be improved by Egypt over the next week.

"Intensive communication with all parties will be carried out for a week to encourage efforts to reach an agreement," said the source.
