Russia Destroys Ukrainian S-300 Missile Launcher

JAKARTA - Russian troops using the Iskander missile system destroyed the S-300 missile launcher in the Poltava Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

Combat command vehicles, motorized vehicles and artillery personnel were also destroyed, reported by the Russian news agency, TASS, Saturday, July 6.

It was also reported that a Russian drone strike in the city of Sumy in northern Ukraine cut off electricity to the local water system and cut off water supplies.

Public broadcasting agency Suspilne reported a series of explosions in the northeastern city of the capital Kyiv, Saturday, July 6 morning. The report quoted city officials as saying the water supply was temporarily suspended.

Meanwhile in Donetsk, Russian attacks killed eight people and injured 28 people in the eastern front line of Ukraine.

Five people were killed, and eight others injured when two Russian-guided bombs hit the city of Selydove, west of the Russian-controlled city of Donetsk, Governor Vadym Filashkin said via Telegram.

"Every city and village in the Donetsk area is always threatened with enemy attacks," he said as quoted by Reuters, Saturday, July 6.
