KPK Summons Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources Officials Regarding LNG Procurement Corruption At PT Pertamina

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned two witnesses related to the corruption case in the procurement of liquid natural gas (LNG) at PT Pertamina (Persero) today, Thursday, July 4. One of them is the Coordinator for the Preparation of the Oil and Gas Program of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Rizal Fajar Muttaqin.

"Today, the examination of witnesses for alleged corruption related to the procurement of LNG at PT Pertamina in 2011-2014," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, July 4.

In addition, the anti-corruption commission also summoned Bayu Satria Pratama, who is the Analyst of the 2006-2014 Migas Strategic Reserve Program. "The examination was carried out at the Red and White KPK Building," said Tessa.

Tessa has not detailed the material for the examination. However, investigators have summoned a number of witnesses in this case, including former SOE Minister Dahlan Iskan.

Dahlan Iskan was examined as a witness on Wednesday, July 3 yesterday. During the examination, he was questioned whether there was an LNG procurement permit from PT Pertamina (Persero) shareholders.

Previously reported, the KPK is currently developing a corruption case in the procurement of LNG at PT Pertamina (Persero) and named two people as suspects. They are Senior Vice President (SPV) Gas and Power Pertamina 2013-2014, Yenni Andayani and Hari Karyulianto who are Directors of Gas Pertamina 2012-2014.

Both of them were Karen's subordinates while serving as President Director (Director) of PT Pertamina (Persero).
