PKB Claims Sandiaga Is Ready To Fight Ridwan Kamil In The West Java Gubernatorial Election

JAKARTA - PKB Deputy Chairman Jazilul Fawaid claims PPP politician Sandiaga Uno is ready to fight Ridwan Kamil if he runs again in the West Java Regional Head Election (West Java Regional Head Election).Jazilul admitted that there were aspirations from the West Java PKB DPW to carry Sandiaga in the West Java gubernatorial election. The reason is, Sandiaga is a native of West Java."Yes, PKB is exploring and there are several aspirations that come from the PKB ranks so that Pak Sandiaga is included as a candidate for governor in West Java," said Jazilul at the PAN DPP Office, South Jakarta, Wednesday, July 3.Even if the Forward Indonesia Coalition (KIM) finally brought Ridwan Kamil forward in the West Java gubernatorial election, Jazilul said Sandiaga was ready to compete with the incumbent."Oh, if Mr. Sandi is ready, Mr. Sandi is ready," he claimed.Previously, Deputy Chairperson of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Jazilul Fawaid said he would consider proposals to carry figures outside the party, such as Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno to become a candidate for governor of West Java.Jazilul said the proposal came from PKB cadres in the regions as well as people from West Java (West Java)."For West Java, we are already looking for internal PKB cadres who are likely to be proposed to advance like Pak Cucun, Pak Huda. However, there are aspirations such as those from some West Java people and also PKB cadres to invite Pak Sandiaga Uno to become a candidate for governor of West Java,” said Jazilul Fawaid, Tuesday, July 2.
He added that Sandiaga Uno had descendants from West Java. PKB itself admits that it is still considering proposals so that Sandiaga Uno can be carried in the 2024 West Java Pilkada.“ Because Mr. Sandiaga is also his mother of West Java. However (the proposal) needs to be explored further, because whatever the election is one level of complexity, the first is looking for a coalition party, the second is looking for a partner,” he added.
