Ford Puma Gen-E 2025: Ford's Latest Electric Car Ready To Launch Year-End

JAKARTA - Ahead of its launch in Europe later this year, the 2025 Ford Puma Gen-E electric car was caught on camera testing the road.

According to a Drive report Tuesday, July 2, Ford Puma Gen-E will be the only SUV version sold in Australia, after the manufacturer stopped its gasoline model earlier this year.

In the image shared, it can be seen that this car is completely camouflaged, only the lights and rims are visible. The difference between the gasoline and the electric version is quite striking. Like in general electric cars, there is no longer an open front grip, and the lower front bumper on the electric version has a more unique design.

Meanwhile, the headlights, rims, and rear bumpers of the Ford Puma Gen-E 2025 look the same as the gasoline version. However, it is estimated that there could be a change in the production version.

There is no detailed information regarding the interior yet, but it is hoped that it will have the same design as the latest Ford Puma version of gasoline equipped with a 12-inch touchscreen, a 12.8-inch digital instrument display, and a two-stop steering wheel.

Puma Gen-E is also expected to be equipped with a 100kW/290Nm electric motor mounted up front, similar to the latest Van Ford E-Transit Cruiser sold in Europe and built on the same foundation.

The travel distance and battery capacity have not been announced, and the global launch is scheduled to take place by the end of 2024.
