Google Pixel 9 Phones Can Have Better Screens Than The Galaxy S24 Series
JAKARTA - Google Pixel 9 will reportedly be equipped with an OLED M14 screen from Samsung, which is newer than the M13 screen used by the Galaxy S24 series. This new screen technology can produce brighter, more durable, and more efficient screens.
According to a report from a Korean outlet, ET News, Samsung Display supplies the OLED M14 screen for the Google Pixel 9 series and Apple's iPhone 16 Pro model. It is stated that three Pixel 9 and Pixel Fold 2 models will use this latest screen technology.
M14 is the latest screen material for the Samsung OLED, with the Galaxy S24 series apparently still using the M13 screen. M14 is claimed to have the best luminosity and life, as well as better power efficiency compared to previous screen materials.
This shows that the Pixel 9 series can theoretically have brighter, more durable, and/or more efficient screenshots compared to the Galaxy S24 series. Although the newer screen material does not guarantee a better Pixel 9 screen brightness, the news that Google may adopt this latest screen technology is still welcome.
Google has confirmed that it will announce the Pixel 9 series at the Made by Google show on August 13, where they will showcase the best artificial intelligence phones from Google, Android software, and Pixel device portfolios.
