Sandiaga Uno Has Not Received Advanced Assignment In The 2024 Pilkada
JAKARTA - United Development Party (PPP) politician Sandiaga Uno admitted that he had not received an assignment letter from his party to run in the 2024 Regional Election (Pilkada).
This was conveyed by Sandiaga Uno, who is also the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy when asked about his chances of advancing in the regional elections, both in East Java, West Java, and Jakarta.
"Wait for the assignment letter (assuming) where. I am now focusing on the ministry, I have not received an assignment," Sandiaga said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 1.
Sandiaga said PPP had communicated with other parties on an informal basis regarding the regional elections. According to him, the decision on who will be nominated in the regional elections is still waiting for a decision from the leadership of political parties.
"Of course we (PPP) have our own considerations because yesterday we focused on the struggle to get seats in the DPR RI," he said. "Now it has entered the pilkada stage, of course we want to make the best contribution so that regional elections can produce regional leaders."
